We collect your name, surname, email address, and phone number when you create an account. We collect your delivery address when you place an order. We process Firebase authentication data, including your phone number or Google account details used to sign in. We also retain your order history, service preferences, and interactions with our platform. Device and usage data may be collected anonymously to help us improve our service.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to process and fulfil your laundry orders. We use your contact details to send order status notifications and delivery updates. Aggregated usage data helps us improve our services and user experience. We may contact you about promotions or offers only where you have provided explicit consent. We also use your information where necessary to comply with our legal obligations under South African law.
4. Sharing Your Information
Easy Laundry does not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our platform, such as Firebase (by Google) for authentication and database services. These providers are contractually bound to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify. We will disclose your information when required to do so by applicable law or a lawful authority.

Your personal data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure), which applies industry-standard encryption both in transit and at rest. We implement appropriate access controls and regularly review our security practices. While we take every reasonable measure to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
6. Your Rights (POPIA)
Under POPIA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request corrections to inaccurate data, and to request the deletion of your information where there is no lawful basis for continued processing. 7. Cookies & Local Storage
Our web application uses browser local storage to maintain your session state and preserve your cart between visits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You may clear your browser's local storage at any time through your browser settings, though this will log you out and reset your session.
